Warm-Ups to The Prequel

Thursday next week The Prequel will start. Before that, there will be a few warm up sessions where the local music scene will meet the Signature artists: It all kicks off with an informal get-together on Tuesday, July 2, 8:30 p.m., with a.o. Anushka Chkheidze and Ludwig Wandinger at Pub Spielmann in Monheim’s old town. The evening will be hosted by Marcel Kolvenbach from the Monheim am Rhein music school.

On Wednesday, July 3, at 5 p.m. Signature artist Julia Úlehla meets the “Sprachbar” at Zum goldenen Hans. Sprachbar is a project for encounters with refugees by Sojus 7 and the beratungsCentrum e.V.
In her work Úlehla stages gatherings of different people at different locations. These meetings form an informal framework for exchanging songs from different cultures. The host is Rabih Lahoud, singer of the group Masaa.
