The Prequel a success

The time had finally come and it was great: from July 4 to 6, the 16 international Signature Artists were in Monheim for the workshop edition of the Monheim Triennale II, playing together in changing formations and introducing themselves to the audience in over 30 concerts, workshops and artist talks.

The audience responded enthusiastically to the international musicians from the opening performance, the so-called ”Round Robin“, in which all the Signature Artists performed in changing formations, and the local collaborations – such as the Peter Evans Workshop Ensemble with Monheim musicians and the collaboration between Julia Ulehla, Darius Jones and Shahzad Ismaily with the middle school choir of the Otto Hahn Gymnasium – delighted the audience in the packed hall of the festival ship.

The Marienkapelle, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the festival boat and could be used for solo performances for the first time, turned out to be a popular and atmospheric venue.

We are looking forward with great anticipation to The Festival from July 2 to 6, 2025, when the 16 Signature Artists will present their dream projects, which they are now developing exclusively for the Monheim Triennale II, with their dream line-ups. We will keep you up to date.
