Radiosendung „Listen” mit Miki Yui

”Listen“ is a regular radio show with The Sound curator Frank Schulte for Radio Rakete, the internet radio station of the socio-cultural center Sojus 7. In the next edition on Friday, February 28 at 7 pm, Frank Schulte will talk to the Düsseldorf-based Japanese artist, composer and musician Miki Yui.

Yui, who has a background in visual arts, regularly crosses boundaries between music, performance, radio production, drawing and installation. On the occasion of her latest release “As if”, released on the Hallow Ground label, the two talk about Yui’s specific connection to sound and listen to her productions, as well as examples of her collaborations with Asmus Tietchens, Carl Stone and Stefan Schneider.
