Public transport
Monheim am Rhein is well connected by bus to the train stations “Langenfeld (Rheinland)”, “Langenfeld-Berghausen” and “Düsseldorf-Hellerhof” as well as to “Düsseldorf-Benrath” and “Leverkusen-Mitte”.
Car
Monheim am Rhein is located between Cologne and Düsseldorf and can be reached via A59, A3 and A542.

Airplane
Due to its central location between the metropolitan areas of Cologne and Düsseldorf, Monheim am Rhein can be reached via two major airports:
Düsseldorf Airport (DUS)
Take the regional train to Aachen, get off at Düsseldorf-Benrath. From there you can easily take the bus to Monheim.
Cologne/Bonn Airport (CGN)
Take the regional train (RB 27) in the direction of Minden or the S19 in direction of Düren, get off at Cologne Trade Fair (Köln Messe/Deutz). From there you can take the S6 to Essen and get off at Langenfeld. Here the bus is already waiting to take you to the city centre of Monheim.
Bicycle
Although all the venues are within walking distance, it can be practical, especially during a longer stay, to explore the most beautiful places in Monheim by bicycle or to take a bicycle tour along the Rhine promenade. Tip: Discover Monheim
