Pre-concert of the OHG middle school choir on May 15

The Monheim Triennale is once again cooperating with pupils from Monheim. The middle school choir of the Otto Hahn Gymnasium is focussing on the music of Julia Ulehla and the concept of the “Living Song”. In it, Ulehla refers to her great-grandfather’s book of the same name. He collected and archived folk songs from Moravia - and he sees songs as “living beings” that change over time and thus always remain relevant. The students approach this idea with songs from this repertoire as well as new songs that have a living meaning for them. They will give a “Work In Progress” concert on 15 May at 6 p.m. at Sojus 7, Kapellenstraße 36 – 40, 40789 Monheim am Rhein.
