”From the Vault“: Colin Stetson EX EYE with Brìghde Chaimbeul

Brìghde Chaimbeul is already familiar with the Monheim Triennale from her involvement in projects at the 2022 Festival and has now been invited as a Signature Artist for The Prequel 2024 and The Festival 2025.

We have selected a concert excerpt from The Festival 2022 from our festival archive, in which you can experience Chaimbeul. It is an excerpt from the performance of Canadian saxophonist Colin Stetson with his band EX EYE featuring Greg Fox (dr), Shahzad Ismaily (bass), and Tobin Summerfield (git). With EX EYE, Stetson is constantly developing new ideas and concepts with some of his long- time companions. In addition to Brìghde Chaimbeul, Stetson also invited the Norwegian guitarist Stian Westerhus to join his signature project in 2022.
